I worked in the department of foreign languages, both administratively and organizing trips and courses abroad for students.
My tasks consisted of dealing with customers, registering students, maintaining databases up to date, selling courses, developing sales initiatives, organizing groups and timetables. Moreover, as the Study Abroad coordinator, I was in charge of the study abroad website. I also contacted schools abroad and prepared groups and activities abroad for Spanish students.

I worked as an assistant in one of the top-ranked English schools in Scotland. I started working as an admin assistant, dealing with inquiries and students, through email, phone, or in-person, managing calendars and meetings, solving problems, using databases such as LSA, Panopto, or Intrinsiq. I was also in charge of general maintenance of the school and exam invigilation. Soon, I added Marketing assistant to my role, managing all the social media, producing videos, and designing marketing materials.

Volunteering. I have volunteered in San Sebastian’s Film Festival (2017, 2019, 2020), Madrid Film Festival (2019, 2020), Sevilla Film Festival (2019), at a monastery in Greece, Panagia Kastriani (2019) a Down syndrome association (2014-2015), in the Christmas parade (2018), at the Food Bank at my home town (every year), at the University’s bookshop (Bookends) and on the TED Talk organized at the University of Aberdeen. I was also a mentor for the Students for Students Programme and a community member at the LGBTQi+ society.
Visual arts. As I am a film student, I am interested in the cinematic and visual world. I have a film, literature, and photography blog. I have also worked on several filming projects, such as a short film on the impact of gentrification in Aberdeen city or a short film on growing up. Also, I created a short film about the impact of social media on my thesis.
Writing. As an English student, I am also passionate about literature. I have already finished one novel, and I am currently looking to publish it. I also write short stories, and I have also participated in several writing contests. I was also a writer at the university newspaper, The Gaudie, writing film reviews.
